Description: Circa 1904. Inscribed "In Memory of My Cruise to China and Japan" this fine silkwork shows the U.S. Flag Ship Kentucky, launched in 1899 and sent around the World by President Teddy Roosevelt in 1907 as part of the "Great White Fleet." The borders of the flags, the eagle and the anchor are woven with silver and gold bullion thread.
