Description: Westerwald, Salt-glazed stoneware. Extremely rare example of German stoneware made for the Swiss market. Sprig-molded, cobalt painted band of eleven shields bearing the arms of the Swiss cantonments. Winged cherubs above and below the shields. Good condition.
