Description: Circa 1790. In 18 kt gold, this beautiful antique late 18th century gentleman's signet ring has a wonderful engraved coat-of-arms in green and red bloodstone with the motto "Virtue in Actions Consistit" (Virtue consists in Action). The arms and motto are for the CLAYTON family.
